Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Receptly you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
Receptly is an AI-powered receipt scanner. We extract structured fields (vendor, date, amount, tax, currency, category) from receipt images you upload, and let you export them as CSV or sync to accounting platforms.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access at support@receptly.in.
4. Plans and billing
Free tier: 3 receipts/month. Solo plan: ₹1,499/month for 100 receipts. Studio plan: ₹3,999/month for unlimited receipts and up to 5 seats. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You can cancel any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if no meaningful usage occurred.
5. Acceptable use
Don't upload anything illegal, defamatory, or containing personal data of others without their consent. Don't reverse engineer the service or use it to compete with us. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Accuracy disclaimer
AI extraction is ~98% accurate but not perfect. You're responsible for reviewing every extracted field before using it for financial or legal purposes. We are not liable for errors in bookkeeping, tax filing, or any downstream use of extracted data.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages (Razorpay, Clerk, Neon, HuggingFace) may cause brief downtime.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice except in cases of abuse.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of the state where Receptly is registered.
11. Changes
We'll notify you by email of any material changes to these terms. Continued use after notification means you accept the new terms.
