1. What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run Receptly: your email (via Clerk), receipt images you upload, and the structured data extracted from them (vendor, date, amount, tax, currency, category). For paid customers we also store a Razorpay customer + subscription ID so we can manage your billing.
2. How we use it
Your receipt images are sent to Google's Gemini API for OCR, then discarded from our temporary storage within 24 hours. Extracted data stays in your account so you can export it. We do not sell, share, or publish any of your data to third parties.
3. Storage and security
Data is stored in Neon Postgres (encrypted at rest) hosted in AWS's us-east-1 region. All traffic between you and Receptly is encrypted via TLS. Secrets are stored in encrypted environment vaults on Hugging Face and Vercel.
4. Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@receptly.infrom your registered address. We'll confirm within 24 hours and erase everything within 7 days.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use Clerk for session cookies (required for sign-in) and no other analytics or advertising cookies. There are no trackers on this site.
6. Children
Receptly is not intended for users under 18. If we learn a minor signed up we delete the account.
7. Changes
We'll update the "Last updated" date above any time we change this policy. Continued use means you accept the new policy.
